The new Shingwaakon PS will open in September 2022.
We are a dual-track school offering the regular English and Early French Immersion program. In 2022-23, we will be welcoming students from Junior Kindergarten to grade 5. In 2023-24, our school will serve students from JK to grade 6.
The new Fernbank Elementary School is a two-level school with 628 pupil spaces. It includes a double gym, “Makerspace/Library”, outdoor classroom, meeting spaces, learning commons, 20 regular classrooms, 8 kindergarten rooms, and a Daycare Centre. We also offer the OCDSB Extended Day Program.
